Summary: GREAT PRODUCT
Comment: I really like this grill. It prepares steaks very fast and they taste great. I also cooked some nice fish on it. With the steaks all you have to do is place them on the grill, but you will need a little butter for frying the fish. The clean-up on the grill is hard, since the plates do not remove, but it is a wonderful product.

Summary: Your can't beat a real Foreman
Comment: This grill is small but mighty. Don't expect to cook more then two hambergers at a time, but they will be cooked to greaseless perfection.

Just remember to put a wet papertowel on the grill after cooking, close the lid and let the grill sit and "clean itself" while you eat.

Summary: Only good for grilled cheese
Comment: I don't use it anymore. It takes all the juice out of the meat you're cooking so everything you cook ends up dry or burned. I hate cleaning it...if you're gonna get one of these get ones where the trays come off & you can put them in the dishwasher..trust me...it's VERY hard to clean if you leave it dirty for more than an hour. I would have given it 1 star but it does cook shrimp pretty well. It's a shrimp-cooker but makes really dry chicken & hamburgers..yuck.

Summary: Meat cooks uneven
Comment: The meat cooks very uneven on this grill. You constantly have to flip the meat over to get an even cook. Other than that, the grill would have been nice.

Summary: Great cooker - but go for a different model.
Comment: I use this grill about 3 times a week, and consider it a neccessity in my kitchen. But, I'd still highly recommend going for a different model.

Why I love the Champ: I love how quickly it heats up and how it cooks. Marinated chicken comes out tender and delicious, as does fish and turkey burgers. Unlike others - I've found that clean up on the grill is easy, as long as you always spray it with a little oil prior to use. But, still not as easy as if it had removable plates.

Why I'm going to get a different model: This one is tiny - two chicken breasts or sausages can overload it. Forget grilling vegetables with your meat. In fact, I wouldn't recommend this for vegetables at all, as the slant and grill shape makes grilling them close to impossible to grill well. And, while cleaning the grill is easy - cleaning around it is another story! It just plain makes a mess everytime. Marinades run down and drip outside of the small dripping bowl- which quickly fills up.

My next larger model is definitely going to have a removable built-in drip pan.

All in all, the Champ delivers on it promise - a better model would deliver better still.

Useful information: Is stainless steel really stainless?

Choose a good quality sink to avoid problems later. Buy cheap and you will discover that stainless steel can stain and even rust! Mild acids such as vinegar will promote rust in stainless steel where the nickel content is low. Stronger acids such as those used by photo processors will have a detrimental effect on all stainless steels.
