Comment: Very good concept. Very cheap cutting and shredding elements, shabbily made without any precision. As one reviewer here noticed "it pulverizes" meat and vegetables instead of cutting and shredding.
Would not buy it again. It does not look Cuisinart, it does not cut Cuisinart.

Comment: I've had this for a month now and it has been great. I bought it not wanting to have a large food processor because of a small kitchen. I've not had one for years and used it the first day I had it. It's great for mixing emulsions, mayonaise, sauces -- creating creamed soups. I've also used it to mix cookie crumbs for cheesecake crusts. Works great. It's heavy -- the motor feels solid and the whole unit seems well-built and is easy to clean. I'd recommend it.

Comment: We had a large DLC-14 for over 15 years, but with just two of us, it was often not worth the trouble to lug it out, do a small job, and then wash all the intricate parts. The DFP-3 is just right for small batches, easier to disassemble, easier to clean, and it has more attachments to do more things than just grind and shred. Well worth the price--well worth twice the price.
