Comment: I have had this unit now for 4 months and it works great. The features work well and I use it from making graveys to chopping nuts and purree fruit for cakes. The only minor drawback is the flask as it narrows at the bottom, but it has not proven to be a real issue.
I have read the comments about food flying onto the walls. Never had it happen as I have used stick blenders for years and found that usually happens when you are not fully submerged. I love the whisk attachmend for quick mixing of eggs, pancake batter, even crepe batter so the dough does not get tough.
1. Cordless - What can be said here. Travles around my kitchen well

Comment: Great kitchen gadget with a ton of uses! I use the chopper all the time. The blade is very sharp and fast! I have used the immersion blender to puree soups and it works like a dream. I only used the wisk once- it was so fast it spewed everywhere! Not sure if this was user error or not. ;) This is small so it stores easily. The handle is shaped so that it is easy to hold and the on button is in a convenient place on the handle. LOVE IT!

Comment: We had our old plastic Braun blender - long after the attachments had fallen apart. This Smart Stick isn't so smart. The motor didn't even last six months - and with so little use, the sticker on the front looks like new. What a disappointment!!!

Comment: I purchased this in order to replace a blender and mixer. It is a versatile tool as it includes a chopper (I already have a Cuisinart mini-chopper), immersion blender and whisk (mixer). Works well mixing for cake and pancake batters. I made a non-bake cheesecake and it had a problem breaking up 1/2 lb. cubes of cream cheese (I had to blend 2 lbs of cream cheese) and should have broken up the 1/2 lb. cubes; it did break the cubes up but I ended up with some of it flying around the kitchen... I am a novice baker). The blender works well as does the chopper. It is a great versatile kitchen item. I bought this instead of a new manual mixer as the price was right and I wanted it to blend sauces in a two cup small Cuisinart sauce pan (great). Thought about a new hand mixer but it is not as versatile and required much more storage room. Made ricotta pancakes, cheese cake, spinach soup and other sauces and items that I served for the holiday meal. Well worth the cost, it makes it easier and faster than having each small appliance. Easy to store as it is small. The only drawback is that I wish I had a longer cord but the cord is sufficient. Easy to clean too.

Comment: I love this chopper- I mostly use it for onions and love that I can chop an onion so finely my kids don't even see it without any tears to me during the process ... I had an old one and after many, many years the motor finally burnt .. theo ne thing that would have been nice to know in advance was whether this one will be compatible with the accessories from my previous one (also called smartstick but different model, color etc) ... I ended up purchasing the whole set with attachments "just in case", but in retrospect could have just gotten the main stick replacement as it does fit with other pieces.
