Summary: It really works!!!
Comment: I've had a Zojiroshi CD-LCC40 (4-liter) water pot for two years and have never descaled, my local water supply is semi hard so the mineral build up was super thick and covered the entire bottome plus half way up. I was pretty skeptical when I tossed in 3 bags of this descaler, a couple of hours later I opened the lid, and wow!!! All the buildup is gone!!! The little filter at the bottom is nice and shiny like new again...like magic! :)

Summary: Awesome!!
Comment: I just cleaned my Zoji electric hot water dispenser with the ADC-05 Pot Cleaner and I am extremely impressed! I had at least six months of build-up in my pot and was skeptical as to if it was up for the job. I live in California where there are a lot of impurities and minerals in the tap water.

I filled the pot with water, heated it to the highest setting and added the cleaner. It immediately started bubbling, like a really hot alka seltzer. I closed the pot and waited for twenty minutes. I ran the solution through the dispenser and rinsed it out in the same fashion approximately four times.

I was AMAZED at how it cleaned out everything! It looked as if I just brought it home that day. I totally recommend this product to clean out all of your coffee, tea and other hot water dispensers.

I hope this review was helpful for you. Thanks, MK

Summary: Expensive citric acid
Comment: This is just citric acid. 1oz of citric acid for 2 bucks?? - You can get citric acid at a cheaper price elsewhere!

Summary: Clean like magic - but pricey
Comment: This citirc acid cleaner cleans very well for my Zojirushi Electric Dispensing Pot, CD-JSC30, 3.0 liters. The instruction said to use 3 packs to clean a 3.0 liters pot every 6 months. That means each cleaning will cost me $6 which is not cheap. So, I only used 1 pack and it removed all the mineral built-ups. However, I've noticed the built-ups come back after a month. I wonder if I use 3 packs, will it remain clean for 6 months?

Summary: Excellent cleaner
Comment: I've just cleaned the Zojirushi boiler for the first time in the three months since purchasing it and the results were excellent. I did check with customer service first because the instructions in the manual and on the ADC-05 cleaner package are conflicting. The package says to use one pack per liter of water and since it is a 4 liter boiler that seemed like a lot of cleaner. Customer service said to disregard that information and follow the instructions in the manual which says to use just one pack of cleaner.

Useful information: Self-Cleaning Ovens

Store measuring cups, mixing bowls and other items used together in the same place. Duplicate frequently used items like cutting boards, knives and dish towels in each work area. Keep two containers - one at the baking center, the other at the range - for wooden spoons, spatulas and other cooking basics. And try to store every item at its first point of use. Keep the saute pan near the range, and stow pasta pots near the sink.
